Welcome to Accent!
Accent! is Luther L. Wright High School’s auditioned show choir in Ironwood, Michigan. Accent! has a long history. The group was in existence as far back as the 1970’s and 80’s, appearing then as the “Luther L. Wright High School Swing Choir”. In 1991 the group changed it’s look and the group's name became “Accent!” Accent! performs extensively at local, state and regional competitions. Every 2-3 years Accent! participates in a performance travel experience. Hawaii, Florida and Branson, MO have been some of their travel destinations. Each year Accent! participates in the Wisconsin Music Association District Solo & Ensemble event and has consistently received ratings to participate at the WSMA State Festival. In two years, Accent! will be celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary as an auditioned show choir at Luther L. Wright School.
