Ms. Woodward has been immersed in the creative arts process her entire life. From her very first guitar at the age of 12 (which she still has . . . although it looks like a beat up version of a Willie Nelson guitar now) to her 5th grade flute (which she still has) to her 100 year old violin (which is older than her) to having taught some form of music and art for 22 years. Everything from Kindergarten music to high school show choir. (High schoolers are as cute as kindergarten students . . . just a lot taller and a bit sassier.)
Ms. Woodward has been involved with theatre . . . performing . . . directing . . . and just hanging out watching plays since she was old enough to go to her local library as a child. Students often ask Ms. Woodward what do you like best? Choir, band, art, drama? And her answer? Everything. Just being creative. Which is why being involved in so many creative arts processes is the best possible job in the world. Her favorite part? Teaching. Helping others learn more about themselves. Understand their potential. Learn to see in themselves, what she sees in them.
